On Sunday, June 22, 2003 the Library held an open house to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Fairfield Public Library.

At this reception, several displays were shown which depicted milestones of the Library history in print and pictures.  

Recognition was made of the past and present Library Trustees.  

We hope to have the library continue to serve the Fairfield community for the next 150 years as well as has been done for the first 150 years.

Thanks to all who have participated in the founding, staffing, volunteering, and general usage of the Fairfield Public Library.
