Building
for families... |

...one nail at a time
|
| The goal of Habitat
for Humanity is to
eliminate poverty housing worldwide by building simple, decent
homes.
Dedicated to helping the
community, the Fairfield chapter of Habitat for Humanity has been active
in rebuilding homes for residents to live in. The first Habitat home,
on
West Broadway street, was dedicated in the spring of 1999, with Iowa
Governor Tom Vilsack visiting. A second home is currently being
worked on in Fairfield.
These projects by Fairfield residents demonstrate the caring
and concern that we have for our fellow community members.
For more information, contact the Fairfield First Christian
Church, Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce, or the Department of
Human Services.
