| About...
The Fairfield Community School district encompassed 354 square miles,
fifth largest in Iowa in geographic area. Twenty-three bus routes
have been established to bring approximately 940 students to seven attendance
centers daily.
There are seven schools that comprise the school
district:

Fairfield Middle School

Pence Elementary

Lincoln Elementary

Washington Elementary

Libertyville Elementary
-
Lockridge Elementary
Note: Lockridge Elementary was closed at the end of the 2002
school year. Students were merged into other schools.
As of the 2000/2001 school year, there were over 161
teachers employed full or part time. Of those:

Various groups provide services for the students
of the Fairfield Community School District. FPAC
videotaped a program for American Education Week
that featured various members of the Fairfield community
about their interests in the school district.
